trying to clean out my closet of all the stuff I can't have after surgery. almost fainted. I need that surgery now!

better just take it easy until you have your surgery. Did you call the doctor and tell them about what happened? I recommend it.

It happened to me too

It happened to me too

Hello Wizkeyman

I had the same experience while I was feeding the horses. This only required lifting hay into the stall and I remember hanging onto the steel post supporting the stall door. The feeling didn't last long, probably less than a minute. It had been snowing and I had to take two or three steps through a drift up to my knees. The day before I banked the last bag of blood and I think that had something to do with it because I felt weak.

This occurred about a week or two before surgery at a time when standing from a sitting position left me breathless. Maybe I should have called the doctor but didn't think about it.

It only happened once.

It has happened to me a few times now. I quit working because i had a few spells at work, one which i did faint. The other day i went to walmart with my daughter and got half way through the store and just gave out, so i think i will be using the motorized carts they have there now. I gave good days and bad day, more bad then good. Im at the point now where im ready for the surgery, I wish mine was as soon as yours but i have 3 more weeks to go. I wish you well for your surgery on tuesday, and i hope some can post for you how you are doing. Take it easy until then. My prayers are with you.

It's hard to explain to your employer, and my employer didn't take it seriously. I think my cholesterol being 628 adds to the problem of fainting. also, my blood pressure is up so I told my girlfriend I need to be alone until the surgery is over. she is kind of hot headed, so I can't be around her. she is very nice but very hotheaded. not someone I want to be around at this vulnerable window in my life.
