All you people from Pennsylvania get off the road ... I have arrived! :p My virtual run accross the US started January 1, 2002 and I have now run 2,060 miles. What seems strange and so long ago, I joined the VR site back when I just entered Arizona. I'm getting there one step at a time.

Oh so those are your Yetti prints in my back yard aye? :D

It's been awhile, how are you doing anyhow?

Hi Ross and all the Gang,
I have been away for awhile. The company I worked for is in the red ... so I felt it was time to make a move before I found myself on the street. In any case, I did so and have been really putting in the time trying to learn a new job, and training for the marathon any chance I get. I am about to become a Grandpa again around the first of March! That's a good thing, and I am excited about that. On the other hand, one of my children is now in the Middle East serving her country, so lots of worry on this end. Please keep her in your prayers. Thanks.
My cat lost her battle with cancer, so we had to say goodbye. That was a tough one and still is when I think of her, and miss her meows each morning when I get up. The new dog Zen is great, and he runs up to 8 miles with me. I'm sure he could do more, but where I run the road gets awful narrow after that, and I worry about him getting hit.

Still fighting the coumadin INR battle, but where getting closer! I'll have a blood draw Saturday and should get the results Monday. Charyl still spoils me me, and I have a Valentine truly worth keeping!

"God bless you all" ... Mark

So your just slightly active huh? Where do you find the time?

Sorry to hear about the cat. I still miss my big guy that I had to put down a year and a half ago. These two new grand kids are a handful and more.

Congrats on being a grandpa soon! I'll definately keep you all in prayer, not just the one over in the sand. I wish we'd just bring them all home. It's a very ugly situation over there and I don't see it getting any better no matter how long we are there.

Keep Zen by your side and your INR should straighten out. ;)

Hey, Mark - nice to see you.

Looking at the map puts into perspective what you have done - with a mended heart, at that! Congratulations. you are nearly there.

I know you will be thrilled to meet your new grandchild. Let us know.

And the young one in the 'sand'. It is truly hard to have one there. Prayers are sent for this one, too.

Keep on truckin -
