Welcome home David and I happy for you that things are falling into place now. Suddenly I'm not so concerned about my OHS, I just hope my lungs hold up! I agree that now isn't the time to be a hero, save that for later and take your drugs--this is not the time to "Say NO to Drugs" ;) Keep up the good work and get better each day. I'll need you around and posting when it's my turn next week!

Jane

Glad you are home, David. Take good care of him Heidi as I know you will and remember to nap when he naps!

Crap!
Well today my little lung issue decided to be a little jerk. Got a fever of 101.5 and feel heavy in the chest with a deep rattle. To the hosp at 8 Am. Heidi is concerned but I'm hoping it's no big deal.
Keep you posted..

David

David, I'm sorry you are having an issue. Hopefully, it will turn out to not be a big deal and you can continue your healing. Please keep us posted.

Were you using the incentive spirometer? I had trouble with my right lower lobe and had to use it for several weeks after I got home.
I hope you're better pronto!:)

I did, they upped his pain meds alittle and gave him an anitbiotic and Heidi said he is feeling better today and was able to sleep well last night
ps and he was retaining a little fluid so they gave him something, I'm assuming lasix but she didn't say
