I just thought this was interesting and y’all would understand. I had surgery 12/22, just found out about issues in November. So, I definitely feel better. It’s so weird how I feel like my body is working more efficiently now. Even though I’m still healing, I have more energy (if that makes sense). One very cool thing…. I have had varicose veins in my left calf for a long time. I’ve always hated them bc they just look gross. Since surgery, they are gone! Apparently, this was from my valve not working well. I made my husband come and see and we were both like what?!? He also says I just have a better color now. Thankful for modern technology to fix these issues! 💜

That's super fantastic!! Glad you feel better now.
We're so blessed with all these technological advancements. Countless lives have been and will be saved by it.

Interesting, I knew that swollen ankles and lower legs was an indicator for valvular dysfunction, by varicose veins is new to me.

Great news
I don’t know if they were actually varicose veins, but that’s exactly what it looked like. Maybe lack of oxygen? I just know they’re gone now! 😊

Happy to hear it’s behind you and your on the mend . Sounds as though it was a great success . Did you have a biological valve or mechanical and if I may ask , what valve .
