I am sure many of you have heard that Pat Tillman of the Arizona Cardinals was killed last week serving our country. This man gave up a 3.6 million dollar contract for the NFL to serve the USA. We live in a world where we worship the great athletes by their performance on the field/court. These are the same athletes who have been involved in many scandals. Sex, drugs and even murder. We continue to worship them even though they are being paid enormous amounts to "play a game". This man gave all that up to serve a greater need. Because of his principles, because of his character, he paid the ultimate price. There are many who paid this price and I would never take anything away from them but Pat Tillman gave up the American Dream that only a few have been able to succeed at. I think he shoud be remembered in a very special way. I think he should be inducted into the Hall of Fame. He is a true American hero.
