Ross,

It makes my heart (with its 100,000 mile tune-up) glad to see the progress Chris and your family have made so far. I know the road ahead will be long and hard for all of you but what a difference a few weeks and thousands of prayers can make. I thought the following might be appropriate. We must always remember to thank the Lord for his blessings even if the answers we receive are not the ones we asked for. I can remember the despair in your posts at the start of this latest journey for you, Lyn, Chris and his extended family.

God has richly blessed your family and I pray He continues.

Danny

(1 Chr 16:34) O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever.

Believe me Danny, I do. It's just that we have had never ending trials since 1991 and I'm seriously thinking God doesn't realize how much we can take. We're at the breaking point now.

Ross,

Hang in there my friend. Hopefully things will turn in your favor soon. You and your family have more than earned a well deserved break.

I thought back to when we all started this latest journey with you. I remember your anguish when Lyn had her problems, when you were piled on again health wise, then, when you were just about to catch your breath (so to speak), Chris and his extended family. I also recall Nancy and Joe facing their problems together during this time. With your VR.COM family here and the Guy above, you will never be alone. None of us will. We might not be there in person, but I know you have felt the love and support of everyone here. We will all continue to be here to help and provide support to each other.

And the occasional GIGGLE!!!!!!!:p :D

May God Bless,

Danny :)

Ross-

It sounds as if things are turing around for Chris and starting to look good. Don't give up hope just when there seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel. I get discouraged sometimes myself and so does Joe, but we have to keep moving forward however slow it seems, and keep working toward the goal.

WOW!...That foot looks incredible...in a year or so Chris will look back on these pics and find it hard to believe it once looked like this...This is truly amazing what & how they can re-build us after such accidents.

prayers continuing for more excellent healing

I didn't look at the pictures, but am glad things are looking better. I check in every time I come in VR to make sure all is moving on splendidly or at least as splendid as it can be. It sounds encouraging and we pray it is going to be a sound foot one of these days.

A week away - i had to search for the post about Chris - wow!
I am glad that things seem to be looking up. I am sorry that your family has had to endure such a long hard time - I pray like everyone that the blessings start to outweigh the trials - that you all find some healing and some peace.
My heart truly goes out to you - I hope to hear more good news soon!!!
