Title says it - eight years since my OHS during which I received a tissue aortic valve and a dacron sleeve to replace my ascending aorta. Amazing what the docs can do these days. I have been on warfarin for years despite opting for the tissue valve as I had some repeated episodes of atrial flutter requiring a couple of "reboots" with the paddles. Not a big deal, just take a pill at bedtime. Going out for a bike ride now -
