Putting down a most loved pet is a truly hard thing to do, but remember that Pio will always be with you. I had a cocker spaniel (Rags) 20 years ago that I had to put to sleep. I swore I would never own another cocker (it hurt too much) but lo and behold Dec. 2010 I had just put down another dog and my husband dragged me kicking and screaming to the animal shelter to get another dog. Guess what, there we found Sophie. We took her home and each and everyday I see traits in her that my Rags had, so somewhere down the road Pio will return in another kitty. Just hang on and get yourself well cause your other two kitties still need and love you and slowly each and everyday it will get a little easier. Sending many hugs to you from down here in So.
