Well except for the ticking that drives my wife loonie!!
I'm back to doing nearly everything I did before.
Doc has me on Coumadin, 81mg Aspirin and Metoprolol. He installed a Saint Judes valve on 08/05/08 at Harris Methodist Fort Worth.
The surgeon was Jeffrey C. Lin and he did a fabulous job. Took him an hour and 45 minutes, everyone got worried when he came out that early. Link. He did not open my chest as low as he did with my father-in-laws bypass, a new approach he stated he was using.
I was there 6 days, 1 extra because my INR's were too low.
I've noticed a nearly complete decrease in all symptoms/problems I was having before, shortness of breath and dizzyness.
I came back to work this week, sitting around at home was getting mind numbing by that 4th week.
