Ran another 5K this morning called "No Kids Allowed". This one was exclusively for ages 60 and up. A small field of only 25-30 people, but you rarely see that many 60+ in any other local race.
I ran 29:22, 9:13 first mile and 9:27 avg pace. That's my best 5K so far this year. A full two minutes slower than one year ago but not bad for how I've been running lately. Plus, I don't feel so special in a field like that. These are truly peers because everyone has some sort of baggage by this age.
