Wow I can’t believe it’s been almost a month since my surgery. I have to remind myself of where I came from and realize that the pain I still feel is not like it was. I still have a lot of nerve pain around my chest and breast area…. I don’t know if being bustier makes it worse, but that has been the most u pleasant part! I will start rehab in a couple of weeks. Trying g to get some good movement in at home. I haven’t had any complications thank God. Still trying to get INR where I’d like it but it’s not too bad. I’m at 2.3 and although my nurse said 2-3 is range, I’d like it 2.5-3. I’ll start the Coumadin clinic next week.
I look back and remember before surgery I couldn’t even walk any more I felt so awful, calls to 911 bc heart palpitations and feeling like I couldn’t breathe or I was going to pass out. Scary stuff for me and my 5 year old. It seems surreal now. Looking forward to further progress and running my first race!
Oh and im On a fb group and I keep wanting to send Pellicle their way when they talk about low INR and on-x.
