My job is to sell dental supplies,before the surgery I asked 2 professors I knew at university and they both examined me at the clinic and did not find anything like gingivitis, damaged tooth, etc. they advised me that it would be good to do a panoramic x-ray,this x-ray shows all the problems under the gums, such as a problem with the roots or a cyst. In attached file you can see for example bottom left a denervated tooth with a crown.
