We would love to make Vegas and meet and greet fellow VR.COM members, however, we are unable due to:

1. Me being laid off last September (thank God I'm retired military) ,

2. OHS in January (still having running arguments with insurance) ,

3. Wife wanting to retire the first part of 2006   ,

4. Trying to keep the checkbook balanced and    ,

5. Trying to keep up the visits with the grandkids :D :D :D .

I will again put in my vote to have someone (NOT ME!!!!! ) try to organize a Southeast reunion next year. Florida, Alabama, the Carolinas (N & S), and of course Georgia. Anywhere on the East coast would be fine. We will try to plan on (Good Lord Willing) attending the next one.

I know all who are able to go will enjoy themselves. I have had the privilege of face-to-face meetings with two VR.COM members so far and found it very enjoyable. Remember, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas :D :D :D .

May God Bless,

Danny

NO IT CAN'T!!! How will the rest of us get all the juicy stories!! It can't always stay in Vegas!! We need details (and pictures too!! :p )!!!

I think I already polled "alone", but I just made my hotel reservations for thurs. & fri. nights. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you -- & perhaps having a Coumadin party... :)

Well it's official. I will be there and also my friend Carol. I booked the flights Saturday. I will be arriving around 5:04 pm on Wednesday. Still need to check on a shuttle that may go straight to Sams Town. If not I'll just take a taxi after the fiasco 3 years ago. It took us two hours taking the shuttle, to get to Lady Luck, since we had to stop at all the hotels on the strip. We missed bowling  but at least I did get to meet Rain and Greggo in the lounge when they came back from bowling.

I also booked Friday and Saturday with the vr.com group and I booked Wednesday & Thursday under the birthday specials, which I believe was 10 dollars cheaper per day, then the rate that vr.com members were getting for Thursday. The birthday specials apply to anyone who has a birthday during that month for which you are staying. You can stay 2 days at the reduced rate. I tried to get the cheaper rate for the Friday and Saturday dates but they said it applys to the first two days you are staying there. :( Sherry, you may want to check into that.

Looking forward to seeing everyone. Red Rock Canyon is really cool, if we get a group that wants to go there! I'm thinking about what I can bring for the Yankee swap. We are having it aren't we? Ross, Cort, Karlynn, Christina, Wendy, Emma, Danny,Harrybaby, Granbonny and all the others who can't make it. We're going to miss you. Betty, Janie, Greggo, Gina, Rain, Heather, Pam, INRtest, Sherrin, Hank, Michelle looking forward to seeing you all again. An anyone else who I've met before or who will be coming for the first time. It is really a wonderful experience. See everyone in 6-7 weeks!

but there just isn't much of anything In Cleveland at least, for everyone to do. Now I'm sure if you want to start a campaign to bring it here, they will more then welcome hearing what you have to say.

Uh, Ross, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum is in Cleveland... not to mention, our favorite moderator is in the general vicinity.

Woo hoo, birthday special? I'm there, sister. Celebrating that forty something on the 23rd... Anyway, looking forward to seeing you again, Lorraine. :) :)

Hey Birthday Girlies...

Hey Birthday Girlies...

Ah, another reason for partytime! :D And for the first time ever we'll have a member coming from California -- right Jess?

We're getting the USA covered from Illiniois to Texas to Florida to California.. ;)

To the folks who are "undecided" -- Birky, Blanche, Don & Sharon....join us!

I voted for two to attend in the poll but have to drop one person out. Hubby has to be a best man at a wedding in Hawaii that weekend so I'll be coming alone. Hopefully it will be cooler here by reunion time. It's well over 100 degrees!
Can't wait to meet you guys!

Yes, Janie & I'm looking forward to it. Anybody going to join me at a (low-stakes) poker table? I'm not the only Californian -- am I?

Drat work, anyway! I'd love to make it out to see all of you again, but I've had so many folks here off work for their own medical reasons that I've been swamped trying to do three jobs for the month of July. I'm just beginning to dig my way out of the pile-up, so I can't take time off until November or December.

Next year?

Sorry wont be able to make it this year -- working 12-14 hours/day trying to get my PhD. analysis done ( hard funding deadline next year ), hopefully next year when we have time ( and are still in the country )

I'll see y'all next year!

I'll see y'all next year!

I won't be able to make it this year, we've got the little guy (who was born right after last year's reunion) with us for the next 3 1/2 mos. while his mama is in Iraq.

Also, I've never had any desire to go to Las Vegas...so I probably wouldn't have anyway.

Don't have too much fun without us, ok?? ;)

Last year in Golden, my husband and I only went to the Friday night dinner -- and traveled by car from California, by the way. I think that attending a Reunion might be something that every VR.Commer might enjoy doing, at least once anyway, to get to meet everyone!

Vegas is one of my least-favorite places%, and my husband, who really appreciated meeting and thanking Hank, thought that one reunion was enough for him, so we'll have to pass.

Last year, however, I was thrilled to get to meet Hank, and his pleasant family, and to speak to him personally and to thank him for what he has done here with this site! And I really enjoyed seeing so many others who post so loyally on the site! It really was an interesting experience! And I really love my Reunion t-shirt!

That little "%" sign in my post wasn't there when I previewed my post; where'd it come from?

Susan ever since we changed servers, this phenomena has been happening. I'm going to have MDuncan come take a look at your post, so please don't edit it out. ;)

I would go, I'd love to meet you guys, but I just don't think Vegas would be fun alone. I'd be worried about the kids and my husband, and feel bad that I got a vacation and they couldn't come. You know, school, work, etc...Maybe if we have one in Seattle or Minneapolis, I would go, but Kevin won't go to Vegas. He supports me and told me I could go, but we all know men....they never mean what they say.

Reunion

Reunion

Cannot attend, but would love to attend if it were ever held in a more central location, such as St. Louis, MO. I live in KY and it is just too far for me to afford going to.

Hope to see you all some other time.
