I was hoping to have had a part time job back in April, and not have to wait until July like I did before finding something that I can tolerate physically and enjoy doing....Therefore, I won't be making this year's run, however, I would love to try and go to the next one. Harrybaby

Hubby and I are coming. He even has some of his coworkers talked into coming out that weekend too to keep him occupied. (Don't know where they will stay though.) Will be making reservations within the next few weeks.

Once again I can't come It's just a bad time of year for me to get away. I get one Sunday off a month (at my discretion) and the Fall Sundays get used on trips to visit children at college and our annual houseboat trip (on year 13 this year).

Tom and I have our tickets and reservations . This will be our third reunion and are already looking forward to it. I would encourage everyone that can to go. It isn't the site or the events but the people you meet that make it all so special.

Who said, retirement was the best years.. Last October, we had planned a 90th birthday for my Daddy..This year..I'm helping out with my 2 new Russian Blessins so mom can visit her stores across America.. Was unable to do so the first 5 months of this year..due to Adopting... Last week she was in Chicago .in Denver next week, ect..Lucky to have a wonderful son-in-law..who is a Great Mr. Mom and other family members helping out. She is really only away from children for 3 nights..so they really still see her often.... Hopefully, next year..maybe on the East Coast or Florida.MANY members in Florida ..Maybe Greggo can get one down there..Bonnie

Mike& I have all the arrangements made. Can't wait!!!!!!!! If some of you gals think your husband might not enjoy it, think again Mike has always had a great time. Are we going to do the yankee swap like last yr. I think every body had fun. We just need to make the rules beffor the game starts. Don't during the game.

Believe it or not, my husband just got transferred to Vegas so we will be there. We just made it here last week and are in temporary housing. Things are pretty unsettled right now with limited computer access so I haven't been on too much this summer. It will be fun to meet all of you guys!

Not to cause trouble, but it would be nice if there could be some type of reunion that those of us who can't make it to Vegas could attend. I am in Ohio and it isn't possible for us to make the trip. We would love it if there was something in Cleveland, Columbus, Toledo or some place like that. I recall recently hearing that Ohio has the most VR members so is it possible to maybe have something for us? I am not sure how to arrange such a thing but I do know that I would love to me some of the VR family in person, especially you ROSS!!!

Just a thought.

Not because I don't want to meet everyone, but there just isn't much of anything In Cleveland at least, for everyone to do. Now I'm sure if you want to start a campaign to bring it here, they will more then welcome hearing what you have to say.

I wasn't thinking about the entertainment. I was only thinking about meeting fellow vr members. Well, there is the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. I hear it's much better now than it was when it first opened, which is when I was there Of course if you have it in the fall there is always HOCKEY!! Cleveland and Dayton have minor league teams while Columbus has an NHL team. Oh yeah there is football,too but you would have to settle for the Browns

Well it was just a thought. I will probably never be able to make it to the reunions in Vegas, at least not until my kids are grown.
Just keep the pictures coming so the rest of us can live vicariously through them!!
