It's still clicking away. For anyone out there reading this and wondering, the warfarin is really a non issue. I do what I want, when I want, and also eat what I want and don't even think twice about it. It has no effect on my life except I bruise now and I never used to, and it takes me a touch longer to stop bleeding if I cut myself.

Thanks to everyone that is posting here more regularly than I do, people need this information when deciding what valve to choose. I wish I would have found this place before my surgery instead of shortly afterwards! There really is a wealth of information here.

Hey
It's still clicking away.

which reminds me, mine was put in on or around the 25th of November 2011, which I think somehow matches up with you "on 12-20-11 Mayo Clinic". So mine's about that too (although its something I seldom think about).

Lets pretend mine was done on the 25th (cos I'm not sure) which makes it about 13 years, 25 days.

likewise mine's doing well and having seen my cardio and surgeon 6 months ago, I'm not slated for anything till 3 years from then.

Happy Ticking

Pellicle - I am shocked - Shocked!;) -
yeah ... indeed ;-)

I'm pleading the 28th
