Congrats on ur 10th anniversary.I to went mechanical and i am 2 weeks post operative AVR.
Reading the ur post has strengthen my belief on mechanical valve and world of warfarin.

Congratulations, Sue, and thanks for your lovely post. My BAV was just discovered last December when I waS 59...imagine that! It's good to read such an encouraging story. You not only survived BAV, you also survived banking!

Congrats on ur 10 yrs, I just had my first yr anniversy replacement on April 4/08. I remember exactly what I did that very day and how scared I was. Now I enjoyed my first yr anniversy with friends thought back last yr from now..
