QUERY:
What milestones did your car(s) reach in 2010?



For the 2nd straight year ... just the 2nd time since I've owned all 5 Monte Carlos ... I drove EACH of them ~1,000 miles, over half of that in September, October & November!

I was surprised that the speedo's of most of the MCs also had Km/h marked, I thought the US wasn't using metric measurements.
The other things I found interesting were that the 1987 model had worse fuel consumption than 1979 and 1981 models, usually the newer the vehicle the better the consumption.
Secondly coupes having what appear to be a column shift even in a 1987 model.
 
Well, Cort - nobody can say that the "traditional" American iron can't last. You've got some high-milers there and they all look great!

My own milestone will be slightly missed this year. The 2001 Rocket-Barge is over 98K miles but won't hit 100 for another couple of months.

True ... but the MC was sold in countries were km/h is used, too.

Yep, even in 1987, the "base" model had column shift. Floor shift was an option that was often chosen.

And, the newer vehicles don't always get better fuel economy. Some of my cars get better fuel economy than some 2010 SUVs and trucks....
