    Hi Everyone, My husband had his aortic root replaced in January 2006 and following surgery was on a ton of meds until the end of February 2006. Now he is just on Metoprolol and Coumadin. For about 3 weeks he has been having dizzy spells. He does not actually pass out, but just feels dizzy...

    Can anyone tell me generally how long you can have a St Jude aortic valve in your heart before it needs to be replaced? My husband has had his since 1995 and picked this option as opposed to a tissue value because he was told it would never have to be replaced. He has a dr. appointment next week...

    Hi, My husband had surgery to replace his aortic root about 4 weeks ago. He was in the hospital for about a week and then completed about 10 days of cardiac rehab. He had some neurological problems after the surgery with his left arm and leg, but is doing a lot better and can walk on his own...
