Hi all.Tommorrow Feb 18 i will be 13 weeks out and my left breast area is numb.There is no sternum pain but there is soreness and pain around the collar bone.I still wake up during the night with pain around collar bone and shoulders and have to take tylenol.

I have noticed the same thing.While walking and swinging my arms I notice that my fingers are white from the middle knuckle down on both hands.

I had pnemonia at 5/6 weeks after open heart surgery----the only bad thing was the constant cough and sneezing which is hard on the sternum and ribs.I had a week of antibiotics and was ok after about 2 weeks.

Believe me you are only going to want to do this once.Why is everyone who had a tissue valve getting mechanical on a reop?

Yes you can take tylenol with Metropolol.I take 4 a day for pain.

Liang I had a mechanical aortic valve and double bypass and my INR target is 2.o to 3.0 from my doctor.With a mechanical valve you see 2.5 to 3.5 as target INR.I listen to my doc but try to keep it on the high side around 2.6 to 2.8.
