    Just had a dental procedure done.

    My regular dental appt requires 2 pills of Clindamycin for the same reasons that STeve noted. Unless there is an obvious infection, you probably won't need more.

    Gail, sorry to hear of the ongoing saga, but at least you are happily washing that smelly old foot ;) Keeping a lowered INR will be a challenge, but it is possible. Lots of good diet choices and testing often should do the trick.

    Pre-surgery my stenosis was quite far advanced and I can't say that my need to urinate was more often than in years before. The thing that gets my bladder going these days is stress. (no history of diabetes)

    The post op pounding is horrible for many of us. My surgeon had approved that I take some daily Metoprolol to calm down the BP and fast HR.

    Thank you all so much for the kind words and thoughts :) You are the best cardiac family that a crazy chicken could have ! I guess that finally -(after 8 years)- my hubby isn't so worried that i will suddenly drop dead so he left a hand drawn heart on my table when he left for work last Friday...
