    Staying the Course -- 8-31-2015

We hit Cherokee and the Gatlinburg area this past weekend and to say the least I enjoyed all of the local cuisine that was possible. Greasy burgers, the famous blueberry pancakes at The Little Pancake House (had to text Wise and Cindy who introduced us the theses fluffy delights and rub it in)...

    Surgery and pain

My pain on that scale was about a 3 in the hospital. At home it was negligible. The stamina bus is the one that they talk about I think depends on the shape you are in at the start. Had my avr at age 49, drove at 2 weeks, back to work in 4. Everyone is different.

    Theme Park Rides

I would ask your doctor why he/she says no. I ride roller coasters and other thrill rides and don't ever have a problem. Life is for living... it's up to you....

I use to work with a guy who made the traditional pecan pie but instead of pecan he used cashews. Absolutely one of the best things I have ever eaten. I'm low carbing it and doing pretty well with it. Lean meat, lots of fish and wonderful SC produce. Peace out

    Problems with Tylenol

I use Tylenol with no problem. There are times when Tylenol just doesn't do the job so I take Aleve. I know I know I'm not suppose to but when I need it I take it and have no problems. Moderation is the key. My internist had a fit over it but my cardiologist is a bit more relaxed about it.
