Just an update, he had blood work done on Monday and they finally called with the results on Wed, his INR was 2.07 and they said that's where they want it so currently he is to take 1.5 of coumadin daily! Now if we can just keep that straight and get that machine! We called yesterday and were...

he is not curently taking the shot, they have now taken him off of that so hopefully we will be able to keep him on track for a while.......

It varies right now he takes 1.5 mg of coumadin mon - thurs and 1mg fri - sunday. he takes 2 shots every day one AM and one PM

His last test was Monday of this week and it was 2.1 and they were very happy with that. I believe he is to have another one on Monday. I think they are waiting too long between test considering the issues he has had.......we still have not seen the home machine!

He has therapy 2 days a week for 3 hours physical, speech, and occupational. He gets up and about every day and walks around for about an hour. He focuses a lot of time on exercising his right arm trying to get it back and that does not require much physical work. He sleeps A LOT! Probably...

Sorry, he did and I failed to answer. Kenny Wayne actually received a human valve. He was taking 81mg of asprin a day but not a prescription blood thinner.
