Darn: It is snowing to beat the band! It's coming down in hugh fluffy flakes! The kind of snow you want to see right before Christmas Eve, not March 12th!

Darn, Darn, Darn! We leave for Tucson for vacation soon, but not soon enough!

Darn, Darn, Darn!

Sigh. Same problem here. Sometimes I wonder why we choose to live in these cold places, but summer makes it all worth it!

You're Right, Kevin

You're Right, Kevin

The summers do make it worth the while. I love the long summer days here - they are so energizing. Guess I'll quit griping about the snow . . . hey, it's stopped!

Peggy stop it! Are you the one responsible for turning on the Lake Erie snow machine today? I'm seeing these very same flakes of which you speak and I don't like it one bit. :D

Ross:

I didn't ask for this snow and it is bumming me out. It stopped but now it is snowing again!

I don't like it at all. Who's praying for the snow, it is not me!

Peggy,

Like you, I thought about Christmas this morning as I drove to work through the snow. Hopefully this is the end of it. I'm ready for tulips and daffodils.

Shhhhhhh...don't say a word...

Shhhhhhh...don't say a word...

...about bad weather or you'll have those West Coast folks from the 'perfect-weather-state gloating and bragging again.

Maybe the 'neener, neener, neener' brigade put a jinx on us all, so we better pretend everything is OK or they'll be back to do it again.....

Hopefully there are better days ahead......

Cheers from Arctic Northern Ireland..

We got about 2 inches this morning. Had a whiteout for a while. It won't last long this time of year. The last couple of years we skipped Spring entirely and just went directly into summer

Winter storm watch

Winter storm watch

here again. I don't mind the snow as long as it doesn't get really cold - and it's not supposed to. Won't hurt the shoots when it stays in the high 20's.

Hey, Billy - a friend of mine spent last week in London and said she about froze. Mid thirties (whatever that is in celsius 1 or 2, I guess) all week and windy and damp. When we were over there a couple of years ago I packed way too many winter duds and needed stuff for warmer weather. Guess that island weather's tricky this time of year!

London in March......

London in March......

Georgia...I trust that your friend was visiting London on business, otherwise he/she may need some help. London before 1st April is not a vacation place. It is cold, hotels are expensive, taxi-drivers are rude or may not even speak English, and to crown matters the good ole dollar is not having a good relationship with the pound.

It all changes with the first sign of spring. Weather makes so much difference to people in this country, it's like a barometer of happiness....that's why we take it so bad when those folks brag about their perfect weather and try to rub our noses in it.

Grrrrrrrrr
