so been on the ball alittle more , and ive trying to get back to my old weight 200 or 190 or when i got out of highschool 220 so today the no BS day, time to take this weight loss full speed ahead

today's weight in , 270 at a height of 6,2
next weight in in a week

and if anyone wants to share there ways of weight loss and ways of better eating please feel free to POST

Join right in on Cooker's Weight Loss Throwdown. We've been at it collectively for the third year I think. Some of us do Weight Watchers, some do other programs, which I unfortunately can't recall at the moment. The biggest thing we do is spur each other on and encourage each other towards our personal goals. Good for you for the taking the first step. Welcome!
 
Try to cut down on your salt intake, drink more water and snack on raw veggies and fruit when you feel hungry. Munching on baby carrots are the best, you can grab a hand full and carry on with your day (it also keeps your hands busy - if you know what I mean)

Good for you, Josh! We'd love to have you join us in Cooker's Throwdown. Most of us weigh in on Friday (or a day before, or day after -- we're flexible)...and we have fun while sharing ideas as well as progress week to week.
 
;)I ditto the others... glad to have you aboard. Just jump on in whenever and you can post all your numbers, no numbers whatever strikes you at the time, just check in usually Thurs through Sat. but there really are no set rules . The more the merrier, or is it more like misery loves company?! :eek: I'd say my biggest advice is to just watch your portion sizes - one portion nowadays is really more like 2 or more and make a plan and execute it as closely as possible. You've set your goal - now go and get it! :)
