WTATC88 Surgery postponed to Friday

My surgery at CC has been postponed to Friday the 14th. Surgery was changed due to a couple of emergency surgeries. They were afraid they couldn't get to my surgery, so instead of leaving me waiting all day they postponed it. Everything happens for a reason. I'm sure there is a blessing involved in there.

Also checked in on Nancym. Her surgery went well. She is still in ICU but smiling. She is eager to get out. She is a tough cookie.

Hopefully my next post will be reporting my successful surgery. Till then.

I changed it on the calendar, Tanya and you will remain in our thoughts and prayers. Thanks for the update on Nancym- it was very nice of you to visit her and report back!

Tanya.... Sorry to hear about the delay. That has to be hard on you but having been the emergency who took someone's space when I had my first OHS, I'm grateful to the person who waited until I had my surgery.

WONDERFUL to hear that Nancy is safely through her surgery and doing well.

Wishing you all the best. be sure not to sneeze after surgery for 2-3 months - it hurts a LOT. I know I am late, but:

Tanya.... Emergencies must come first. As stated before...if I were the emergency I would so much appreciate those who reschedule. I keep reminding myself of that while I wait for a consult with Gillinov. Each day that passes with "no call" I believe there is someone who needs him more than I. I too believe delays come with a blessing to be revealed later. Best wishes for a successful surgery tomorrow. Prayers are coming your way. Jennifer
