Would it be unusual to ask for the surgery to be filmed?

When I had my first baby almost 19 years ago, it was becoming more common to take videos. I said "NO!" and strictly instructed my husband to stay north of my belly button. My sister did have both of her C-Sections taped about 12 and 11 years ago and I had the misfortune of watching one of them. Seeing the guts come out and get stuffed back in was disgusting! I refused the privilege of seeing the next one.

So, I don't think I would want to see my own heart surgery. It seems that with as many people are around the table, it would be difficult to know exactly what is going on, unless the hospital has special equipment. Besides, I like to imagine my ****s when I am upright and they are "perky" (well as perky as can be at age 47), not when they're flattened out and shifted under my armpits!
