Don't know why I was thinking that it would be Monday. Anyway, I'll keep my fingers crossed on Tuesday and say a special prayer as well. Everything will go wel! You're young and has proved to be very strong! Looking forward to hearing the good news!

Jill, after all this time, we feel we know you so well. OUr hearts are going right along with you this week while you trek on over the mountain. Avoid the truck, if possible, and come on back when you feel like it. Also, don't sneeze. In the meantime, we'll count on that handsome husband of yours to keep us up to speed. GODSPEED!

Thanks for thinking of me! We had a good appointment Friday and everyone seems to think that this is going to be a breeze. I am feeling good - just getting anxious to get in there and get it fixed! We leave tomorrow for Cleveland and will spend tomorrow night watching the Steelers v. Ravens Monday night game and wishing we were there. :D

Anyway, Christian and I both appreciate your thoughts and prayers - It's nice to have such an extensive support group here and I know Christian will update everyone as soon as he can.

That's why I love her.... A stone's throw away from the operating table and she's planning a Steelers party.

Anyway, let me echo her thanks. I've been reading this board since it was just an e-mail list during what I believe was the late 1990's. I've learned so much about hearts, doctors and cardiology here... And I honestly believe that my accumulated knowledge has made a real difference when it comes to tackling Jill's heart defect. That feeling is worth a whole lot to me. I'm certain that we've done the best that we can for our son, ourselves and each other. Nothing can change that, no matter how things turn out for us. We'll both have our heads held high when they roll Jill onto that elevator on Tuesday.

Ross has agreed to update you all on Jill's progress -- I've provided him with the means to get in touch with me.

Christian and Jill....you both are in my prayers. I follow all your posts as if you were family, which in a way you are. I hope all goes well with you and you have many years of family life affected very very little by heart problems. God Bless.
