My memory of being the hospital is kinda fuzzy from all the pain meds. But I did have temporary pacing wires in place in the hospital after surgery and I could have sworn they clipped them close to my skin and left them in... to be honest I wasn't keen on watching the process when they did it, (wasn't ready to see my incision yet). However my X-ray shows no wires... So I don't know if I imagined this, or maybe was told about a scenario where the wires would dissolve? This one is still a mystery to me.
