I have the exact same mini tree that I put in the kitchen....last year I skipped out on the tree in the living room ordeal.
It's too much work, when I don't even have any kids at home anymore.
Besides, The goats and cat just try to eat the darn thing.

LOL! When my kids have left home (which won't be for a few years yet) I am not doing Christmas anymore!
I hate the way it has become so over commercialised and has lost its true meaning, which, to me anyway, is that it's a time for families and friends to get together and celebrate....low key barbecue, picnic at the beach etc.

We are staying in a hotel for right now and my best friend at wor gave me a handmade Christmas quilt she had made me for Christmas. That is my hotel Christmas decoration. My husband said we could hang a wreath on the door with lights.

Just kidding. It is the thought and it is cute. But where are the lights? where is the star on top?,

Before I got married, that was my tree for several years. It was enough and I loved it as a single person. After I got married...guess what....It remained the main tree as we never got a real big TREEEEEEEE. We travel every Christmas and for the past years I had no energy to decorate much.

Hope it will be a holy seasons for all of us.

I thought it was me, glad to see other are the same! Just to much work, it has taken me 4 days to do what I use to do in 2. I packed up a goodwill box of alot of my Christmas things, just don't need all of this. But I still have a daughter at home so I still do it, and I like it also. My husband is a great help I sure couldn't climb in the attic. But Ross yours looks Great, just don't light that candle to close to that tree! LOL!! Merry Christmas! Lets get back to the real reason for the season!!
