I have a house full of guests at the moment, 6 people, my 2 daughters, 3 of the grandchildren and a family friend. My house is jumping and in utter chaos! But it is fun.
They arrived on Wednesday, and will be leaving Monday morning.
It's wall to wall people.
Plus, the grannies are playing games on the computer, so I will be back in earnest in a few days.
All is well, but I am tired. Lots of cooking, and activity, little kid meltdowns from time to time, the whole ball of wax.

I am in recovery mode, and so is the house! Plus I never could have imagined the amount of garbage 7 people can make. I had to ask one of my grandsons to come out with me and stomp down all of the garbage bags so they would fit into the can. I wish I still had my garbage compactor! We have garbage pickup one day a week (tomorrow, thank God) and the costs is for basically one large roll out can.
But it was so nice to all be together.

Nancy it's good to see you back. I know what you mean by garbage when there is a group around. This week-end is the time that my daughter's show choir from the high school comes down to our lake home. Oh my gosh do they every make garbage! There are 45 kids in the group and of course they all come, along with about six adults. They camp out everywhere, in tents, in the cabin, on the porch, you name it. They never sleep much when they are there anyway. They are coming down on Sunday and staying until Monday evening. We are going down Saturday to mow and get ready for them.
Although I don't get on much anymore because of work but I do check in and I noticed you hadn't posted in a while.
