I think Nancy and Al are giving you very good advice. If you are unhappy with your care (and you should be) both Medicare and Medicaid should have a number you can call and describe the care you have/haven't received.
Unfortunately you have greater leverage with the hospitals than the physicians. Hospitals tend to be more responsive to complaints that are levied.
You should go to the emergency room if your incision isn't better by tomorrow.
Remember, you will have to deal with the parties involved for a long time so it is better to prove now that you're not someone they can dismiss. You don't want this manner of care to continue, do you? What if it were your child?
