Very rainy, and the temp is low, 37. So, if we're lucky it won't snow tonight, otherwise --bad news--. The leaves are still on the trees. So if it snows, the weight of the tree branches with the snowload will cause the branches to break, and it will be a huge mess.
I haven't even lined up my plow man for the driveway.
And the poor little kids who love Halloween, I hope for their sake, things turn around.
We had almost no nice leaf colors this year. It's usually so pretty in the fall here, and the weather is usually beautiful. Some of the trees haven't turned colors yet. My Japanese Maple becomes a very bright red. It's gorgeous. Hasn't happened yet.
I'm hoping for Indian Summer, which is when there is nice warm weather after the first freeze. Sometimes that happens in November.
Apple picking is right at its peak now, and many people enjoy going to the orchards to pick their own. But the weather for that has been horrible.
