Karen - Thanks for bringing up this subject. I also have an aortic homograft and performing well per my echo in May (4 years, 7 months). So, if I read Ken's posting correctly, I can expect 20 years with a 50% probability of re-operation. Plus the fact that mine was done after the study means mine had more modern techniques and will last even longer. I never really researched it, just took the recommendations of CCF when I had my surgery. So, this is pretty good news to me, another 15+ years before re-surgery.
