Welcome to "the bright side of the mountain!"

Remember. . . the food is not the reason you're there. (Just kidding. When I was in the hospital for my valve surgery, the food was better than I expected. I just wasn't that hungry.)

Pancakes!
Like Steve said, the food at hospitals has gotten much better. Too bad the patients frequently feel too carpy to eat much.

Congrats!!!
I had a decent appetite my first two days after surgery, and then I couldn't stand the food there anymore. Felt sooooo good to have my first home-cooked meal!

The food did not taste too good after my surgery but the nurses explained that this is a common side effectsof the anesthesia. It takes a long time for the powerful drugs to leave your system. The food looked better than it tasted.
