I Of course, I can't give out any medical advice here, but can maybe help with what I've learned and experienced through the years.

How about this as an approach: Those of us who SHOULDN'T give out medical advice but DO, will continue to shoot our mouths off (I just looked up my total # of posts ) BUT -- Our new nurse can point out where we are gravely off the mark!

Oh BTW, let me tell y'all about this new herbal tea that obviates coumadin therapy...

Welcome to the board. It is great to have someone in the trenches, who is in the know on the valve scene. It is wonderful to do research when one has enough time before surgery to look at the options out there. We have new poeple coming all the time looking for answers. You are going to be busy here. You are amongst friends here. I have been a St. Jude's vavler since 2001. But I do not prefess to know everything. Changes are coming all the time. But we do need more people in the know here.
