Weeks since surgery

I am confused as to when you start counting the weeks. For example, is the magic week 6 counted from surgery date or from the date you go home which is typically a week later? Just curious how others count it.

Well, I just figured it up and I'm going on week 437... ...counted from "D" day.

My daughter was a whitewater rafting guide on the American River - lived near Placerville for some years after college. Whole bunch of them from Austin did that and had a ball..! Dang, that river's cold.......

I count from date of surgery. Don't know how everyone else does it.

I count from the day of surgery. Hopefully, one goes from counting from days to weeks to months to years.

No one told me other-wise.
I started counting Day of Surgery - which would be day 1.
After all, when you are having a conversation regarding your surgery, one would say "its been 4 weeks since surgery" blah, blah blah. And one would automatically think 'ah, okay, a month ago'

The day of surgery is day one over the mountain. It is all downhill from there hopefully. Enjoy the ride.

I counted from day of surgery my last OHS and am doing the same for this one. Makes me a whole 11 days out.... Yipeee!!!
