Hey Susan......
Hey Susan......
The best description of a VR.com reunion was posted on this forum a couple years ago by one of our respected founder members Mr Dick Vincent. I won't be able to remember it word for word, cause Dick has a 'way with words' and usually uses very few of them.
Anyway the jist of his remarks was that apart from the dinners, there was no real agenda. Some people arrive early and leave early, some arrive late and leave late and the wise ones arrive early and leave late. The part in between arrival and departure is usually determined by spur-of-the-moment suggestions made by the wiser folks. In Nashville we had a jam-session by the piano for six hours which upset the hotel and raised everyone's INR....well it was really the margaritas that affected the INR. There was also a tour of the Opryland hotel on the Saturday morning and we ate at different places each night.
In Chicago we spent the Saturday afternoon on Navy Pier, etc. and folks did stuff in smaller groups the rest of the time....in fact I wonder how many can remember what they did...hahaha, wasn't there a hospitality room or somfin, I seem to remember that bit.
In short, you can come as you please, go as you like, do what you want......you can even discuss INR's if you have the uncontrollable urge, but you will be amongst friends and you will enjoy yourself and have a good time, whether you want to or not.......in fact having a good time is the only part of the reunion that is compulsory.
It's as simple as that..............Cheers,
