I got a nice laugh from a picture this morning-a picture of such low quality that i haven't posted it here, but I can try to create a word picture. I love my son-in-law, Joe Izaguirre. My daughter signed on to an exciting life when she married Joe. She has joined him in hang-gliding, rock climbing, parachutes a scuba diving. And all of these have happened in places from here to Argentina.

Another important characteristic of Joe is his love of a good cup of coffee. If Joe is not under water or flying through the air he has a cup of coffee in his hand. I can already tell that Ellie is heading for an exciting life of her own. She is just over two years old, but already swims in the ocean, climbs a six foot ladder for the water slide, and stands on a surboard riding tiny waves in the swimming pool.

Here is the picture that made me chuckle. Joe has just bought Ellie her own skateboard. Stephanie sent me a picture of Ellie, balancing on the board--and in her right hand is a sipee cup, just like her daddy would do it. It is amazing what our kids learn from watching us.

that shows how much they learn from their elders -= and a good example of why we need to watch ourselves so we don't pass on too much of the bad stuff. She must have great admiration for that big man in her life.
