Because I care for the welfare of everyone on this forum, I feel I must pass on some vital information to those receiving Disability benefits:

The other night, I was watching a comic show, and a topic they were discussing stopped me dead on my tracks. Apparently, a woman who had been receiving Soc Sec Disability beneifts for being 'clinically depressed' was now at the verge of losing her benefits because Gov dogs had found her profile in Facebook & her photo appeared to them too happy for someone to be considered clinically depressed!

I know that many of us appear to be healthy & in perfect condition on the outside to those who have no clue of what we've been thru.

I know this for a fact because for three years my boss could not & would not believe that I was that seriously ill & thought I was just trying to get sympathy. It wasn't until I was told that I needed a 4th OHS that she said to me, "oh my, I had no idea you were that bad off!" I just smiled & said, I tried to tell you so.

So take this bit of information, digest it & heed my warning~

Love ya all!

Sad but true. Even my own children think I am the same as always - and these are the most considerate people on earth. If we smile, act alright, we are ok and that's the image we certainly want to project most of the time, but it isn't always the way we actually feel. What people see in the image is what they judge. In health, this isn't always true.

Ann, this is indeed very true.
Some of us don't complain very much, but inside we have some stuff going on that scares the poo out of us sometimes.

Facebook, Twitter, Forums, Government Satellites, whatever, your being watched and judged 24/7/365.

He carries on 2- and 3-way conversations with them, particularly in the morning (he gets up @ 4:30; I get up @ 6 a.m.).

LOL....your husband does that too??? :p I swear my husband talks more to Molly (our cat) than me.....sometimes he'll be talking to her & I answer him! :p

He says he likes talking to her because she doesn't answer back! :) :p

Oh Lordie, you should hear and see, my husband with Miss Mitten.
