Warfarin & Tooth Extraction

May need to have a tooth pulled, asked my doctor today if I need to be bridged and he said no, just quit the warfarin for two days prior to the extraction. Is this right?

One other thing...
With a valve defect/replacement you are at higher risk of endocarditis from bacterial infection getting into the tooth cavity. Ensure your dentist understands the implications and offers adequate antibiotic cover.
