I do not think MJ was guilty of child molestation. I think he is guilty of being a freaky person and I think he has found a fast way to make money in the U S. The freakier you are in the U S the more music or whatever you sell. Ordinary does not sell. However being freaky does not necessarily mean he is a child molester. And if people have doubts they shouldn't send their children there.

I think if those accusers had been offered a good chance to settle they would have jumped on it. They got caught up in something they couldn't finish. Or the mother did.

Don't get me wrong, I think child molesters should be punished but as with any crime I think it should be proven. The prosecution should put on a better case. This one was extremely feeble. I would be one of the people wanting to hang him if they would show us some evidence.

And as for the pornagraphic material he showed to these boys it was of naked women which is what most men laugh about when their sons look at it. That is a big seller also. Proves to me he was looking at women. This indicates to me that he likes women. An assumption about why he was looking at it or why it was on his computer is not good enough. Any of you men out there ever look at any???? Or do any of you women ever look at any of men? Does that give us the right to say what you are thinking?

If there are any former employees, current employees, friends, acquaintances or delivery people that know something and didn't come forward they need to be prosecuted for they are as guilty as he is . Crimes against children are the worst there is. And people should help the prosecution prove it unless it is the prosecution that is being bought off. People should make such a stink about it, that they won't sell out.

Well, I certainly agree that Jackson stands convicted of being exceptionally weird and unbelievably stupid. And while I think he may have molested kids, perhaps may go as far as to say that he probably has, that's not enough to sustain guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Same with OJ. I think he's probably guilty, but again that's not enough to sustain guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Both cases actually leave me proud of the American criminal justice system. In many other countries "probably guilty" would have been good enough.

"Not guilty, by reason of celebrity" ---- I read this somewhere this morning and thought it was so fitting for our times.

I have decided that if I intend to commit a major crime that I want to do it in California (LOL). Actually, first of all I need to become a major superstar. On second thought, forget it.

I dunno, wise. I may be naive, but I should hope that nobody with competent legal counsel - whether or not they're a celebrity - would be convicted on unreliable testimony as in the Jackson trial, nor upon perjured testimony as in the OJ trial.

Jackson put himself in a very questionable position.

The wierd documentry, saying he has children sleep in his bed in an innocent, "non-sexual" way? Having the kid there w/him on film, holding his hand and having the kid rest his head on Jackson's shoulder? Who would put themselves in that kind of position, especially someone w/Jackson's history?

If he "bought" off an accuser 9 years ago for several million dollars, why would he continue doing this sort of thing? He should have considered himself damn lucky back then and stopped this strange sort of behavior.

I read today that his "people" are now saying there will be no more sleep-overs! Like, duh!

Sometimes you wonder what people are thinking about when they do the stupid things that they do. I guess common sense is not really common. Especially the idiot parents that allow their children anywhere near him.

He cant stop, its a sickness. I think he will do it again, and the prosectors will do nothing, because of the beating they took this time.

You're right. It is a sickness, probably brought on by the childhood he never had because of his "lovely" parents.

If he does not seek help and get this under control, eventually he will pay the priice, but what will be the "cost" to all his future victims?

I heard on Fox News this morning..that there was a huge victory partyfor MJ..but he did not show up..However, his Mother..one of his Lawyers and......a Juror      came...Strange... A Juror??? I guess..that Juror is looking to write a book.  ...What really makes me mad is that Jennifer Wilbanks The Runaway Bride is going to get 1/2 million dollars to tell her story... ..that happened locally where I live... and MANY people took time off from work to look for her... Her family only gave the town $13,000 to pay Law people overtime... She only got a slap on her wrist..for all she did....accusing people of raping her...lying to Law Enforcerment people in New Mexico, ect....and NBC is doing an Interview with her this week..trying to boost their ratings.. so they can get a Movie of the Week.... Also, it was her Boyfriend's family that was putting up all the money ($100,000) reward..Her family didn't have money..I know.. They only live a few miles from me...and I cannot believe, he is stupid enough to still be with her.....Bonnie

I agree with geebee. Make no mistake, I am not a Michael Jackson fan, but the prosecution did not make its case. I also agree with many others in this forum, he is one weird person. However, since the prosecution failed, one does not go to jail in the U.S. just for being weird. It would be better for all of us (especially kids) if he crawled under a rock, never to be heard from again.

Weirdo Jackson

Weirdo Jackson

One definition of "weird" according to Webster's Dictionary is "unearthly". That is what Michael Jackson reminds me of, a creature from the old movie,
"Night of the Living Dead". He is downright scary looking. He was a cute little boy. What possessed him to go to this extreme is beyond me. Normalcy does not describe him. He is anything but normal. What forty something man in his right mind would want to sleep with little boys? Only God knows whether he is innocent or guilty. We are not the judge, thank goodness. I hope he gets his life straightened out as he is not a good role model, although the younger generation would probably disagree with me. All I am saying is that he is "One weird looking and acting dude". Just wanted to put in my two cents worth.

Nancy Grace of CNN just did a show about celebrities taking over the justice system and getting away with all sorts of misdeeds, including murder. O.J., Blake, Jackson, the runaway person, the movie girl who shoplifted. I heard one reporter who said that a juror just about mouth watered every time Jackson entered the courtroom. Another reporter said a juror planned to write a book, the judge was told and he 'took care of it'. A juror at a celebration party for the accused? Totally unhealthy in our justice. But then we have lopsided justice all the time. Look at the current Mississippi trial. That one should have been taken care of many years ago. What about the Enron and Tyco and Anderson Co misdeeds. Many suffered at their hands. Where is justice for the victims? Do y'all think we will ever have proper justice again in the U.S.?

There is a different between "Not guilty" and "Innocent". Juries never come back with a verdict of "innocent". Although there are many cases where defendants are innocent, some defendants are not guilty because the evidence didn't prove beyond a doubt that they did it. It seems like splitting hairs, but I remember a lawyer speaking after the OJ verdict about how the legal system did not find him "innocent".

While one juror attended a party for MJ, several of the jurors said they felt he was guilty of child molestation but that the facts in this case just didn't bear that out for this particular case.
