Hello everyone,

Thanks so much for your kind words :)

I'm now nearly 3 weeks after surgery and doing pretty good. I haven't had too much trouble with pain - mostly stiffness in my back (I do suffer from arthritis after all). I'm still pretty tired, but managed to go to a friend's wedding in the weekend - so all in all I think I'm doing pretty well on the energy front. My biggest trouble is with foggy-headedness and memory loss. But I think this is all fairly normal and it does seem to be getting better.

Once again, thanks to everyone who has commented here. I really appreciate your thoughts.

cheers

Terence

Terence, Glad to hear you are doing well. I had problems with my memory as well and most of it wore off after a month or two (I think alot of it is the drugs and they just take a while to get out of your system). However, at five months out, I still have moments occasionally when I totally forget what I'm about to say. My husband and I have just learned to laugh it off as we both say "pumphead" at the same time.
