Hello friends
Thank you for all the comments and messages on my last post and for the Thoughts and Prayers on the passing of my mom 2 mtg ago today ... I miss her terribly!
After my last post l checked into hospital where l spent 2 weeks before they transported me to Calgary whee l remain now for a week 9 days. First 2 weeks just stabilizing me flushing with lasix where I lost 11 lbs of fills in the first couple of days .. I had scopes on both ends yet again they didn't find much same old story. Got a transfusion was put on "Octreeotide" to hopefully shrink "Angiodispla s" and help to control internal bleeding. New and not known that it really works giving it a try .
In 3 wks they just cannot seem to get my INR and keep me at therapeutic levels. Was transported to Calgary had my Angiogram finally on Friday night after waiting and being dropped on the list for a week. Also had all blood work done for surgery although will need another cross match of course. Hoping to FINALLY see my surgeon tomorrow with a date and plan for triple Valve Replacement removing a mechanical aortic valve and a mitral repair and replacing with bovine -aortic, mitral, tricuspid.
I have been fit to be tied most days, ready to leave a number of times. Finally had a complete melt down yesterday for the first time grieving my mom.
Waiting for tomorrow .. . in anticipation for a date. I swear if it's more than a week or 10 days I'm going home.
Double edge l was in critical condition 3 wks ago but am optimized for surgery which now puts all acute care a priority which has it's benefits. Waiting in hospital 5 or 6 weeks pre surgery is just about 4 or 5 weeks too many for this girl. I am the worst patient ever hate hospitals more than anyone and litteraly walked out and closed the door on my business without notice to my loyals of 6 yrs. They found out on a social media post l was closed immediately for an undetermined time line. It's summer and l just want to go home sleep in my own bed at night and go back to what I love doing. They have officially taken away everything else taken away everything else l love most in life "Salt" .
I will update here after l speak to my surgeon tomorrow God Willing.
P.S. l am still having all the spasms electric shocks pinching burning migraines .. Neurological symptoms l have had since Nov when l got sick /attach on my immune system. Without consult Yet from a neurologist. Rib cage spasms & migraines being front runners.

But here's a recap ..
Jan 5 /16 OHS Valve Replacement Aortic Mech Valve and Mitral Valve Prosthetic Ring . . Immediately after surgery Internal bleeding started exasperated by Warfarin.
To date approx 140 blood transfusions. (Angiodispla) throughout GI Track
Scoped to death one end or the other.
Jan/19 redo schedule for bovine ..
Got extremely sick Nov-today. Surgery postponed.
Tuesday Echo done .. 06/06/2019
Findings ..
Aortic Valve mild regurgitation
Tricuspid Valve Sever regurgitation
Mitral Valve Sever regurgitation
Atrial Severly Dialated
Diastolic Dysfunction
LVEF 60% flattened septum RV overload
RV moderate Dialated
Estimates 85 - 90%
Sever pulmonary hypertension.
Notching pulmonary artery
LV hypertrophy EF 72% Flattened septum consistent with RV pressure/overload
About covers it !!
I will be admitted into my local Hospital on Monday .. Work up will begin.
Iv lasix biggest issue keep that pressure off my heart
Scopes tests more Transfusions ct xrays
They will then transport me to Calgary possibly a heartcath
Surgery is probably 2 weeks out
Praying for sooner than later.
Praying that bleeds stop or become minimal No Warfarin
After 3.5 yrs or more hoping some sort of normalcy to my life.
Through all of this l have just spent the last 3 mths with my very sick mother whom we lost a week ago this morning.
We had a service Wednesday and they broke the news to me Thursday that l was in heart failure .. But no surprise on this end.
