I'm back. Surgery went very well. Just tired now. Spend alot of time walking, trying to get out of here. My surgeon says probably Sun I will go home.

Wow and typing already? I couldn't even begin to think about it that fast. Well you only jobs now are to deep breath, sleep, eat and walk. Do as much as you can of the walking. Glad to see you on the other side. :)

Glad to hear from you and will keep my fingers crossed for an uneventful recovery and an early home-coming!

How wonderful to hear from you so soon. Sounds like you're doing great. Hoping your recovery goes smoothly and fast.

Congrats and welcome to the other side!

Keep up the walking...and don't forget to use that incentive spirometry (my husband is 2 weeks post op and is still using it at home).

Sending you positive thoughts and prayers!

Whishing you a continude speedy recovery and hope you get home sunday, all the best.

Eric ~ I'm happy to hear you made it through the surgery and are having a speedy recovery. Hope it continues!!

So proud to hear you are doing well and have the surgery behind you. Continue and do like they all said before me, pretty good advice.

Was planning on going home today, but my inr wont go up. Been at 1.2 for 2 days. Taking shots to bridge it while my doc adjusts coumadin. Otherwise I feel awsome, better that I have in several years. Dr Morris was just in and said to spend some time outside while they adjust my INR. Feelng great, food actually tastes good, minimal pain. Spirits high.

I fear you have one of those Doctors we tell everyone about. If your INR has been 1.2 for two days, then he's not being aggressive enough in raising the dose. Unfortunately your stuck while your in there. Hey they aren't shoving Boost or Ensure into your hands are they? Both have large amounts of Vit K and will sabotage your INR.

Good to hear ...

Good to hear ...

... all went well. You are LUCKY you can eat. Actually, if you are enjoying the HOSPITAL FOOD, perhaps you aren't OK. My Doc said "if you like the food here you get an automatic PSYC consult". Are you sure they didn't mess with your brain too? Are you getting REAL food smuggled in to you?
Happy Recovery!!
