Hi Everybody,
Yesterday I had an appt with Dr. Cohn, my surgeon at BWH in Boston. My new date for surgery is August 21. The heart cath will be done in the morning by a cardiologist and then Dr. Cohn will be able to determine whether I'm a candidate for minimal invasive surgery. He will do the valve surgery a couple of hours later. He will be using a Carpentier Edwards Perimount valve.
I had palpitations during the night for abt an hour. I guess I'm no longer
asymptomatic.
Now I have to wait for 8/20 ( I go to Hospital the day before surgery)
Will keep you posted.
Thank you so much for your support and good wishes.

Best of luck to you in obtaining the minimal invasive surgery it is always better. I am having that valve installed on the 19th. I will see you on the other side of the mountain. Good luck with the surgery & I hope you have a speedy bump free recovery.

Tbone,
Thanks for your good wishes. And I wish you the same. Can't wait to meet on the other side of the mountain.
