I'm 5.5 months post surgery. Everything during recovery went great. My only issue is that my sternum doesn't feel straight. Feeling my clavicals, they don't line up exactly. Anytime I try to lie on the couch on my stomach, it is uncomfortable because of the misalignment. Obviously it's not something I'm going to have fixed; no need to have my sternum recut. At no other time does it cause discomfort.

I was just curious if anyone else has this issue.

Ask your doctor for an x-ray to see if your suspicion is correct. Imagine, if the sternum is healed straight and the issue is just some soft tissue that gets pulled when you lay down which could be easily fixed with rehab and some muscle work. These are just some possibilities so why not find out with an X-Ray first?
