I did the first pass with the snowblower. It's an oldie (30 or more years) and a goodie, but bless its little heart, the gear box freezes up about 3/4 of the way through the job. Maybe it needs oil. What say you mechanics out there??
I know, I know, why don't you just look. I guess I'll have to do that. If it doesn't need oil, can I wrap it in something to keep it from freezing?
Right now we have about 10 inches on the ground. It's a good thing it's cold, because that amount of wet snow is hard to plow. The snow is coming down very hard, so we'll probably get near the 20 inches they predict.
Great, tomorrow, Joe and I have to go out very early and get his protime.
The plow hasn't gone around yet. When it waits like that, it leaves a mountain of heavy snow at the end of the driveway.
It's beautiful out there now with everything covered. People are skiing and snowshoeing down the road, there was also the ***** kid who was towing another one on a snow board behind a truck, dangerous beyond words. My dog is too short for the snow.
