I'm sorry to hear about Joe's problems. My thoughts and prayers are always with you and Joe. Please let us know how things go.

Take Care!

The consensus seems to be that it is not a cardiac related thing. The strangling feeling, they thought, might be a cervical/nerve problem, and the hoarseness should be looked at by an ENT. We already have that appt. So we'll see what comes from that appt.

I am relieved. Thanks for all your posts. Certainly appreciate them.

Nancy,

You and Joe are never far out of my thoughts. I will be praying for good news.......

BTW, had my second, 6 month mammo/ultrasound today.....will find out next week what the results are, but the techs both said they looked good.......Please keep me in your thoughts, too.

Evelyn

Will do, Evelyn--

Waiting for results stinks! One good thing about having had BC is that they tell you right on the spot what is going on, at least for most people. My last one turned out well. So far, so good.

GOOD NEWS FOR YOU!!! I'm so glad it turned out well....when do you have to go back again? Yep, the waiting stinks, the only good thing is that when you've taught school for 34 years in the surrounding district, most of the hospital techs/personnel were your students or related to your students......it DEFINITELY helps.

Turns out the receptionist was my student and graduated in 2000, the mammo tech's husband and I work together in jail and I know his Mom., and the sono tech's daughter used to ride at my horse shows......what a small world.

Just had the first post chemo and radiation mammo in April. Won't need to go back again until next April, I guess, unless something develops in the meantime.

I do see the onco. every 4 months for labwork, etc., at least for this year.

Everything seems to be normalizing, and I feel well. I had a beautiful surgery, was very pleased. Just a meticulous surgeon. Incisions clean as a whistle and perfect. No reconstruction needed.

Hi Nancy, I was so sorry to read your first post, and somewhat relieved to read your last one about Joe. Wow, you always seem to have to be dealing with something! No down time in your household.

I am glad that it does not appear to be cardiac related and hope that things get sorted out soon. And most importantly that Joe feels better soon! He has had more than his share! (and you along with him)

Thank you, Nancy. I am always glad to hear your encouraging posts about yourself. We have prayed long and hard and maybe that, with lots of medical care, helped some. Thanks for the update.

Good news about Joe. At least it sounds like a doable fix.

Happy to hear the good news about both of you. I will pray that the ENT visit goes well also.

Hugs heading to NY.

Nancy,
Sorry to hear that Joe is having problems.
Good to hear that you don't have to see doctor until April. The two of you have been through SO much.
