I used to have a good internist here and then the group dissolved. And I was told, look you don't need an internist. A GP should be adequate. But I think you are right and I should get one lined up. All the good ones retired here!
And I will be sure to check on whether or not I can refuse residents to "work on me" at the Mayo.
Boy, my notebook of things to resolve prior to surgery is getting thicker! But I do appreciate all the advice and suggestions.
