Joe and I had an interesting day, sort of a soap opera for heart patients.

This morning he had a Protime at the lab, then got dressed for an appointment at the Medical Center about 20 miles away with Joe's cardiologist. He had a wonderful checkup and the appointments will be stretching out now from every month to every other month. He really is feeling pretty well.

Came back and ate lunch. Then after lunch, Joe asked me to take a look at his electric calculator, the keys were sticking and it was acting weird. I'm very mechanical and like doing that dull kind of stuff. So I spent the next 2 hours taking apart the calculator and cleaning all the keys and keyboard. I had to take out every key and clean it with a toothpick and alcohol. It seems that someone well-known to me who shall be nameless, had spilled a little chocolate milk on the keyboard and it had dried there. The keys were indeed very sticky! :p :p I don't think I want to become a computer techie:D But the calculator is working AOK now. I thought I detected some orange soda there too---

Had dinner and was ready to watch a little tellie. Joe called for help. He had had a small skin lesion removed from his face about a week and a half ago and the scab had separated. Blood was pouring out pretty seriously. So we wadded some tissues for pressure and off we went to the ER. Fortunately this was probably the shortest amount of time we've spent there. They stopped the bleeding and applied a special dressing. I asked them to give him some antibiotics because you never know with something like that. So I guess back to the skin man sometime next week.

So we're home and there is a happy ending.

***But the night isn't over with yet
